Sail Away Sunday

When we were in Marathon, FL there was a fellow sailor who graciously and enthusiastically organized “Sailaway Sunday” every week. Her intentions were to encourage those who were using the mooring field to not forget that we were all on boats and boats should be used. A Toast to “The Whale”

When traversing the Abacos you will often hear sailors talking about “The Whale.” This refers to the “dividing line” between the southern and northern Abacos.
